Upon receipt of notification from the state or federal courts of an obligation to serve on a jury, employees must notify their supervisor and provide him/her with a copy of the jury summons. The College will pay regular full-time and regular part-time employee for time off for jury duty as long as jury duty pay (in excess of mileage reimbursement) is turned over to the College. The employee may keep the jury duty pay if the employee uses available vacation or personal leave for the absence.
