Department Chair Meetings
Regularly scheduled Department Chair meetings will be held. All Department Chairs are expected to attend all Department Chair meetings. In the event there is a requirement to be absent, the Chair is expected to contact the Dean of Academic & Student Affairs to request to be excused. In addition, the Chair is encouraged to have an instructor from his/her department attend the meeting in his/her place when possible.
The Department Chair meetings have a primary purpose of ensuring that there is an adequate communications within the Division of Academic Affairs and with personnel assigned to other Divisions. Personnel from other divisions are encouraged to attend these meetings and place topics on the agenda.
